Closed Driver, Not Just a Closed-Back

We aimed to design a headphone that works on the go with an uncompromising sound. This meant a closed-back earcup for maximum sound isolation and the latest generation of planar magnetic drivers for the best sound. However, putting a standard open-back planar driver into a closed-back earcup results in too much rear sound wave reflections that diminishes the audio quality. To resolve this, we have come up with a new fully-enclosed planar driver with a custom refractory filter and dampening to minimize rear sound reflections. This driver deals with the issue of sound diffraction within the driver itself, before it ever reaches the back of the earcup. Plus, you can enjoy better sound isolation on the go.

For this reason, the Serene has been extensively tuned for the most optimal tonal balance that allows you to hear the full frequency spectrum without any dips or peaks. With an extended bass shelf and a completely flat midrange, you can enjoy your music naturally and as it was intended by the studio engineer.
